In the 1990s I experienced many weekends on Pelican Lake in North Central Minnesota. The Mondale family were neighbors to the location where I stayed. Their boat named “Water Suite” moored at their dock while the family was engaged in other 4th of July activities. If you look, you will see her fastened with two ropes, so that the one shall counteract the other and keep her in a steady position. It inspired me to capture the wind on watercolor paper, that day.
